Murphy's Corner

This is my second blog page. The first one got stopped for some reason, just when I was getting good at it. The lady I own says she couldn't keep paying the subscription fee every month because we weren't making enough money on that site. What do I care? I'm a cat. I don't need money anyway. But the lady and man do, so they can buy cat food and toys for me.

There are 3 other cats in this house: Angel, Phebe, and Duchess. Angel is the oldest. She's a calico. She gets to go outside. Phebe is the next oldest. She's a gray tabby. She gets to go outside too. Duchess is a ragdoll. She's 3 years old, which is just a couple months older than me. Duchess is my half-sister. We have the same mom. Duchess doesn't get to go outside, and neither do I. The people I own say that's because we haven't been fixed. Fixed???? I didn't even know I was broken. But that's OK. I don't want to go outside anyway. Duchess does, but I think she's crazy.

There are people in this house too. A man, a lady, and a tall boy. Actually, the tall boy is a man now too. He's 19. But he's still a boy to me. The people have names, but I never use them. I don't need to. After all, I'm the cat. They're supposed to know what I want without me calling them. Besides, they're just people. Really, if I had thumbs, I wouldn't need people. I could get my own food. But then, I guess I'd need a person to drive me to the store. My legs are too short to reach the gas pedal in the car. Not that I've ever been in the car. But I've seen it from the window, and I've seen where the gas pedal is. Duchess would have to steer while I pressed on the pedal. Somehow, I just don't think that would work. So I guess I need people around after all.

Besides, the lady has to type for me. I can't work the keyboard either. Again, it's that thing about thumbs. Keyboards just weren't made for cats. Why is that? Why don't they make keyboards for cats to type on? With 4 paws, I think I could type a whole lot faster than the lady does. So maybe I should give it a try. OK, here goes:
